Join me for INWARD, a journaling workshop, beginning on Nov. 11th.
Detroiters: Join me in Wyandotte tomorrow (10/25) for Live Breathwork at 7pm.
Hi Friends,
Isn’t election season fun?
Not so much.
It is however, among other things, a reminder of how hypocritical we all can be, and of how a willingness to acknowledge our own hypocrisies and choose to show compassion for one another can set us on a more connected and loving path through this beautiful, bizarre and horrifically troubling reality. Wow, that was a long sentence.
To be clear, there’s nothing I point out in the video above that I too haven’t done and still do sometimes. It’s all a journey. Through the ugly, the beautiful, the hypocritical, the hard and the harder, again and again and again. And again.
Bottom line: we have to quit hating and shaming each other and commit to finding some empathy and compassion. Or nothing will ever change. For real.
Let me know how the video landed with you, and what you’re doing to keep yourself grounded during these wild times.
I’m truly grateful for your presence here. Let’s continue to become the examples of compassion and love that we want to see in our world. Let’s resist the urge to align with our hypocrisies and instead take ownership of the ways we are condemning others for doing the very same things we’re doing.
Let’s commit to loving the hell out of ourselves so that we can love the hell out of each other too.
All is possible with love. Without it, well, just look around.
Sending out so much peace and big, big love to you all.
Scott
From Kandy, a participant in October’s journaling workshop:
I joined Scott Stabile's Journaling Adventure with the simple intention of establishing a regular journaling routine, but I walked away with so much more. Scott’s openness, encouragement, and acceptance made me feel safe, giving me permission to be vulnerable, which truly deepened the experience. The connection with the incredible participants, feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted, led to healing childhood wounds, powerful AHA moments, and a deeper appreciation for myself and others. It was a transformative journey that far exceeded my expectations. - Kandy D.
