Scott~Hearing your voice and meaningful words~ especially at this time in our lives~ I am so very grateful for you.
Thank you for reminding me that I have worth and a huge heart of love. Because I read this just now, my entire perspective of life has changed to a positive trajectory.
I must work on learning how to meditate. I’ve never been good at it because so much goes on in my mind all the time.
His father, whom I was married to for 23 years, his dad is
In the hospital for the past 9 days with liver rejection.
He stopped drinking in 2019 when he was in a diabetic coma. He received a new liver 2019.
However, since May of this year,
The liver is starting to reject. The liver enzymes go up and the steroids make his sugar go up. It’s a double -edged sword. The steroids no longer keep the rejection from happening. He’s on an antibiotic now and more anti-rejection medication. He looks very sick and yellow. I feel that his time now is limited.
I am remarried and Ted is cool about my grieving and caring as his x wife of 18 years, 50 years ago and mother of his son,
Is being treated for cancer.
I wanted to send Alex your three minute clip as it is so meaningful. He has been living in a tiny apt. with his dad and has recently gotten engaged in Costa Rica to his Columbian girlfriend. He’s been, got stuck, dropped in his lap, taking care of his dad alone.
Thank you again for your 3 minutes share. I am going to listen to it again today.
Seven hours after your post.....thank you...and as my mom would always say at the end of our phone conversations since we lived 500 miles apart, "feel my hug" - because the post was the perfect reminder for "Making space for all of it." and your reminders are such a breath of fresh air. Thank you!
Beautiful!! I can never hear the lesson of 'both/and' enough from you, Scott! It's a concept that I love and embrace, but often forget. Thank you thank you thank you. <3
