Happy Birthday dear one!! Dale and I send you BIG love and hugs. You are an amazing human being with so much love and light, we're blessed to have you in our lives. We can always relate to what you write and appreciate the time and effort you put into staying in touch. The beautiful energy that you are will always carry you through, whether writing or not writing, sugar/no sugar, you are a source for all those that you touch, whether physically or with your words and presence (in person or in video!). We love you and are grateful for the blessing you are in our lives. Would love to catch up with you sometime soon. Peace, Love and Light, Barb
Our birthdays are close together and so we are reflecting on what our "number" means at the same time (in my case, 54). As I get older, the number itself means less and less to me. I may feel differently at 60! 😜
Where we differ, my friend, is that I want all of the attention and accolades! This year, I have asked my friends to mail me a note with a few words about one of my unique qualities or what our friendship means to them. I am excited to see/read the responses!
And typically, I would be celebrating my birthday for weeks, but this year will be somber as I will be attending a Celebration of Life, on my birthday, for a friend that went missing on Jan 18 and was found dead on May 12. It will be a sad time with plenty of opportunities for reflection.
When I go out dancing, I am typically the oldest hottie on the floor, too, my friend! 😊😍😘
Thanks so much for sharing yourself here and keep on danicin'!
Dearest, Chrisann, my deepest condolences about your friend, and a huge hug and big birthday wishes to you. May you get ALL the attention! I love you. ❤️😘💕
Hi Scott 🧡 thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. I too am feeling very much the same! For a long time I was a song writer, performer, recording artist, astrologer and blog writer. Now, I do none of those things and feel creatively frozen. Do we ever feel comfortable in the changes that (in my case) led to the dissolution of how we've identified ourselves?
Thank you for sharing, Andrea. I’m not sure about ever feeling wholly comfortable, but I do think we can grow in acceptance of whatever changes occur, and that acceptance is one pathway to more peace. And, you are still all the things you listed, whether or not you are actively practicing any of them. They are alive within you. What is frozen can thaw at any time. Wishing you so much love! 💜💙❤️
Thank you Scott... Yes, you're right, acceptance is a good way to approach change. There's so much falling away in the World which reflects what I also need to release with love. ❤️🌿
Have no fear, dear Scott, about your writing abilities. Your words are powerful, touching and real. Also knowledgeable and caring. So glad you celebrated your birthday yesterday. Check your PM's. Sending big love from Nicki & Chris. Xx
BIG Happy Birthday Sweet Scott! Your truth and honesty is always refreshing and a reminder of how we all can show up to life all 365 days a year! May your new year around the sun be glorious and filled of spontanous joy! xxoo
Beautiful rich honesty. Thank you Scott.
The less you worry about your 'words' the more we can see you.
Big love always, Lisa xo
Big love back to you, Lisa. 💙🙏💙
AND loving myself is the hardest thing I have ever had to do
and the most worthwhile. keep it up! ❤️❤️❤️
