Coming home to yourself, unmuting yourself, and microdosing mushrooms.
Let the journeys begin.
Hi Friends,
I shared these words to social media recently:
I am becoming more relaxed with who I am, and more gentle with myself when I’m not able to be relaxed with who I am. I am committed to this gentleness. With it, I remind myself I am only human, and even when I disappoint myself, or others, I am worthy and I am loved.
I’ve spent the majority of my adult life on a (relatively) conscious spiritual path, which is to say I’ve been working on my growth and healing to become more loving, accepting and peaceful. In all this time, I haven’t transcended the insanity of my thoughts, still suck at meditating, have many of the same triggers, and am certain I have one of the most envious minds on the planet. I am more loving, accepting and peaceful, however, first and foremost with myself. This fact has made all of the dedication I’ve given to personal growth worth it. Long ago I stopped trying to change myself and instead decided I was willing to love myself, as I am, no matter what.
I don’t consider myself an expert in, well, anything really, other than loving. I excel at loving, myself and others. I excel at being my own best friend, even when my mind commits to being my worst enemy. I didn’t get to this loving place with myself by chance. I got here with willingness, commitment and lots of practice at loving myself (and others). Until it became second nature. Well, first nature really.
I believe it is within all of us to love ourselves with the abandon of our dearest friend, and to let that love flow to all whom we meet. It is with this belief I’m offering my new workshop, Coming Home to Yourself, on Saturday, June 25th. In it, we’ll get busy looking at ourselves honestly, as well as the blocks we’ve created to loving ourselves. I’ll be sharing the many different practices and tools I use to keep myself locked in self-love, despite what my mind encourages. Please don’t let yourself underestimate the power and importance of self-love, not just for yourself but for our world. As the Buddha said, If you truly loved yourself, you could never hurt another.
Join me, and let’s commit to loving the hell out of ourselves, no matter what. It’s never too late to deepen the relationship you have with yourself, and right now is always the perfect time to start.

If you feel a deep call to attend this workshop but finances won’t allow it at this time, please reach out to me and we’ll work it out. Don’t let lack of funds be the reason you don’t attend if the call is there. Or, if you feel called to pay if forward and sponsor someone for the workshop, let me know that, too.
For those of you who are writers or would like to establish a regular writing practice (of any kind), please check out my friend Ann Randolph’s upcoming Unmute Yourself writing workshop, beginning on June 20th (that’s in a few days, so sign up soon). Ann is a master storyteller and teacher, and with the monthlong Unmute Yourself, she facilitates a daily (Monday-Friday) live online hour of immersive writing that will keep you grounded in your practice and connected to writers from all over the world.
I participated in Unmute Yourself last November and can’t tell you how encouraging and helpful it was to meet with Ann and the community each morning and just write whatever felt true to my heart that day. Whether you’re working on a specific project or just want to get your morning pages in, you’ll be wowed by the effects of this workshop, and delighted by Ann’s gifts and presence every day.

If you’re curious about or a fan of plant medicine in general and microdosing in particular, Jacob Nordby, my podcast co-host and brother from another mother (and father and entire ancestral lineage) is hosting plant medicine expert, integrative coach, and healing facilitator, Kayse Gehret for a two-hour workshop called Microdosing 101, an introduction to plant medicines for healing, creativity, & personal growth.
I’ve long been a big fan of plant medicines and have no doubt this workshop will be fascinating and highly informative.

Please share any or all of these offerings with those in your life whom you think will benefit from them. Thank you so much.
Remember remember remember: You are worthy, and beautiful, and loved, just as you are. Keep shining.
Big and Bigger Love,
Scott
You are an expert at sharing yourself, which is benefiting me in ways I could not imagine. You are an expert at practicing and maintaining authenticity, showing me what that looks like so that I can learn how to do it, too.
I will never tire of you emulating how to love myself. (And I will never stop working at it! Because I am worthy and divine!)
Big, big love to you. xxoo
