Hi Friends,
Today’s reading really resonated with me, and I hope it does with you, too. It’s from Denise Linn’s Native Spirit Oracle Deck. Denise is a member of the Cherokee Nation and a wise and thoughtful teacher. I really appreciated her book, Kindling the Native Spirit. It’s ripe with ideas for integrating sacred practices and ritual into our daily lives.

Here’s the card I pulled for us:
Let me know what this reading brought up for you. And share any steps you feel called to take to energize your wildness.

Hello Scott, This card made me recall the Adirondack Loons calling to one another at Cranberry Lake, NY. I’ve spent summers their from age 6 to 50. We didn’t have television. Just a chessboard, a deck of cards and a fireplace for rainy days. Sunny days were spent in the woods along the lake and very often in the lake. Adirondack Loons, their calls make beautiful sounds…and I’d never know when I was going to hear their song….so I had to be quiet and always listen to the sounds of the earth.
P.S. I am part Cherokee~
